SP A rare Royal Christmas Card signed by Princess Elizabeth, sent before her coronation as Queen, c. 1950. Cover bears gilt emblem of the Order of the Garter with the Anglo-Norman motto "Noni Soit Qui Mal Y Pense". With printed greetings "With Best Wishes For Christmas And The New Year" and the Princess's signature in blue ink. Opposite the signed page is a mounted black and white photograph of Princess Elizabeth and Prince Philip smiling on the back of a convertible during an official appearance. The card also features a dark green and white ribbon close to fold. Overall size 19.3 x 34.3cm when opened. Light wear to edges, else in very good condition.
