Beschreibung:

Spice container. [Poland, 19th century]. Silver, cast, engraved and soldered. Filigree. Oval container, split in the center, with a pierced upper part. The two parts of the container are connected with a hinge. Positioned on three rounded legs, engraved with a pattern of rhombuses, resting on a flat and dented silver ring. A basket is placed between the legs. The container is set between petals with filigree ornamentations, and on its top are two leaves and branches with an ornament shaped as a bud. Height: approx. 16.5 cm. Good condition. Stains. Some bends. Breaks. Filigree ornamentations are lacking and defected.
