Unrubricated except for title, preliminary texts and first page of the body of text, all of which have red capital strokes supplied. (Title and last leaf rather crudely guarded at gutter margin, a few scattered wormholes to first several and last few leaves, in one or two cases catching a letter or two of text). Pigskin-backed wooden boards, brass clasp and catch (pigskin renewed). Provenance : "Iste liber est Divi Nicolai [illegible] patavinam" (ornate inscription on A1r). First Cologne edition.
