STONE AGE SCANDINAVIAN KNAPPED FLINT SICKLE Neolithic, 6th-mid 2nd millennium BC A fully bifacial sickle blade of excellent workmanship, possibly of Danish origin, for right-handed use and once mounted in a wood or bone handle at the butt end; formed in a transluscent brown-grey flint with wear-use polish to underside, the concave cutting edge and the upper surface of the tip end, point lost in antiquity. 68 grams, 11cm (4 1/4").
