(Tears to P1, Book I, H1, Book II, and H2, Book IV, affecting text, small tear to lower margin of plan of St. Olave, Book IV, small hole to plate of Hoxton Hospital, Book I, caused by a paper fault.) Contemporary panelled calf (rebacked, scuffed and repaired). Provenance : Trinity House (manuscript note dated 1819, armorial bookplates). This copy is unusual in having a loosely inserted contemporary annotated draft for the entry for Trinity House (pp. 286-290, Book V), dated 1730 and marked "To be put into a new Edition of Stow's Survey of London, next after the Accounts of the Trading Companies in the City", 6 leaves, folio.
