Classic cover, the first of many Superior covers to feature the "blonde in red dress abducted by ghouls" motif. The stories are nightmarish and lurid, with bondage, torture, lingerie panels, singing ghosts, viking madonnas in pointy metal bustiers, Satanic pacts gone awry, and the dead carrying off the living to satisfy unholy cravings. Of special note is the splash panel to "The Blood Curse," featuring the first pre-Code instance of the "woman on medieval torture wheel" motif as seen on the covers to Mister Mystery #6 (July, 1952) and Dark Mysteries #19 (August, 1954).
