A fine 18K gold openface quarter repeating jaquemarts watch Unsigned, circa 1800 With full plate engraved foliage and scroll decorated gilt-finished keywound movement, engraved and pierced balance cock, gilt cuvette, the skeletonized dial with outer white enamel chapter ring with Arabic numerals, enhanced by painted gilt foliage and floral decoration, blued steel moon-style hands, the skeletonized centre surmounted by a vari-colour gold scene depicting two standing putti striking the bells in unison with the repeating, vari-colour gold doves, a dog and a basket of flowers, in plain circular case with coin-edged band, repeating through the pendant, pendant locking lever in the band, unsigned 55 mm. diam.
