Ø60mm, ca. 154g, 18K Gold, komplett emailliert, dunkelblauer Rand mit dunkelroten, punktförmigen Emailleeinlagen, besetzt mit Türkis-Halbperlen sowie Miniatur Orientperlen, schauseitig 12 halbkreis-förmige Kartuschen, jeweils mit einem Blütenmotiv in Emaille-Lupen-Malerei, jeweils wiederum umrandet von Miniatur-Orientperlen, rückseitig ebenfalls 12 geschwungene, spiralförmige Kartuschen, wiederum florale Emaille Lupenmalerei umrandet von Orientperlen, mittig ein Gemälde feinster Qualität, Darstellung eines Sees vor Berglandschaft, im Gehäuserand 2 Öffnungsknöpfe für beide Deckel, Gehäusepunze Frères Oltramare No.4404, Bügel ebenfalls komplett mit Orientperlen besetzt, Pendant mit emailliertem Drücker für die Repetition, dieser ebenfalls mit einer feinen Perle besetzt, Staubdeckel mit Sprungdeckelfunktion, komplett floral graviertes feuervergoldetes Prunkwerk, fantastische Qualität, Zylinderhemmung, Repetition der Stunden und Viertelstunden, massiv goldenes Zifferblatt, gekörnt und guillochiert, ausgefallene und hochfeine Schlangenzeiger aus gebläutem Stahl, hervorragender, voll funktionstüchtiger Zustand, lediglich kleine Bestoßungen der Emaille im Randbereich. Die Uhr ist eine museale Qualität und wurde sehr wahrscheinlich für einen Kunden im osmanischen Reich gefertigt. Sowohl die Gehäusedekoration als auch die Ausführung des Werkes sprechen dafür. Freres Oltramare fertigten die Gehäuse von einigen der bedeutendsten Genfer Gold/Emaille Taschenuhren für den chinesischen und osmanischen Markt. Die Werke waren meist von Piguet Meylan. Auch das Zifferblatt der hier vorliegenden Uhr und die Zeiger stimmen mit bekannten Uhren dieser Herkunft überein. Ø60mm, ca. 154g, 18K gold, completely enamelled, dark blue rim with dark red dotted enamel inlays, set with turquoise half pearls and miniature Orient pearls, front decorated with 12 semi-circular cartouches, each with an enamelled painted flower, each again framed by miniature Orient pearls, back also with 12 curved spiral cartouches, again florally enamelled painted and surrounded by Orient pearls, central a painting of finest quality, lake scene in front of a mountain landscape, 2 opening buttons for both lids in the band, case punched Frères Oltramare No.4404, bow also completely set with Orient pearls, pendant with enamelled pusher for the repeating, also set with a fine pearl, dome with spring lid mechanism, completely florally engraved fire-gilt splendour movement, fantastic quality, cylindre escapement, repeating the hours and quarters, solid gold dial, grained and engine turned, extravagant and very fine snake hands made of blued steel, in excellent condition and in fully working order, only small imperfections of the enamel at the rim. The watch is of museum quality and was probably made for a customer in the Ottoman Empire. Both the case decoration and the movement indicate this. Frères Oltramare made the cases of some of the most important Geneva gold/ enamel pocket watches for the Chinese and Ottoman market. The movements were mostly made by Piguet Meylan.
