comprising of seven albums, the first, 'The Rise and Fall of the Hair of Hall,' contains photographs of Hall - childhood to adult life, featuring fantastic moments in his military, motorcycling and publishing career, contains articles published by Hall, and various letters from notable people including Laurence Oliver. The second is a bound archive of J. J. Hall's articles published in Motor Cycling between 1941 and 1944. The third, 'Brooklands to Berlin', contains press cuttings, photographs, and extracts from stories by or about J. J. Hall includes letters from the Duke of Beaufort dated 22nd and 28th January 1944, and a message from the King dated 25th January 1944, noteworthy contents also include three original cartoon drawings by Alex Oxley (1943), Russell Brockbank and Markham, amongst other interesting photographs and cuttings. The fourth, '10 to 1 BAR 2': A Folly in February, 1953' by J. J. Hall is comprised of various black and white photographs and receipts relating to travels around France, also includes his article for The Motor from 15th July 1953 entitled, '10 to 1 BAR 2: A February Frolic'. The fifth, 'Bits & Pieces' by J. J. Hall is a bound archive of Hall's articles primarily published in The Motor between 1950 and 1957. The sixth, 'A Book of Photographs taken on ''Journey in July: Part I'' by J. J. Hall 1952, includes a series of black and white photographs taken by Hall, an article, 'Journey in July' by Hall, October 29, 1952, and 'Journey in July: Part II' in November 5, 1952, also notable is a letter from C. H. Jarvis dated 12th November 1952. The seventh and final album 'Baggage Wagon to Les Baux' by J. J. Hall is an album relating to an expedition to France in 1951 with a 1951 XK120 Jaguar and a 1951 Sunbeam Talbot 90, includes black and white photographs detailing the journey and the resulting article published June 13, 1951, in The Motor. Together with a 'Complete list of Successes obtained by J. J. Hall' (143 World's Records); a framed childhood picture, a City of London Special Constabulary identification card, Mr and Mrs Hall's expired passports, and various other expired driving licenses and ID cards, amongst other facinating items.
