THE DOORS AND JIM MORRISON PHOTOS 1960s - 1970s A collection of three black and white contact sheets from 1967 and two prints of a 1970 performance by Jim Morrison and The Doors taken by Jospeh Sia. The contact sheets show more than sixty photos of a Doors concert interrupted by a police officer coming on stage to remove Morrison and most likely stop the show. Grease pencil marks and markers have been used on the prints to indicate which ones were to be used. The 1970 prints show Morrison performing with Ray Manzarek in the background of one photo. Sia's contact information and notes appear on verso of each photo. Oliver Stone used Jospeh Sia's photos as a prime source of authentication for his 1991 film The Doors (Imagine). 8 x 10 inches
