The second printing of the first complete English translation of the Principia, the first printing of this edition having been printed in prior year. It is styled "A new Edition, (with the life of the author; and a portrait, taken from the bust in the Royal Observatory at Greenwich) carefully revised and corrected by William Davis ..)". This second printing is considerably rarer than the first, with the present copy quite clean and fresh.
