Meyer negotiated the publication of both of these late Thompson Oz Books with The International Wizard of Oz Club. When he learned that she had an old unpublished manuscript in her files, he convinced her to rewrite “The Enchanted Island” as The Enchanted Island of Oz , issued posthumously.
