A Tiffany Studios Bronze and Favrile Glass Desk Set In the Pine Needle pattern, comprising a rocker blotter, stamped TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK 346; four blotter corners, each stamped TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK 997; pen tray, stamped TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK 1004; stamp box, stamped TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK 801; letter rack, stamped TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK; pen rack, stamped TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK; rectangular picture frame, stamped TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK 946; and an expandable book holder with folding ends, stamped TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK. Length of largest 14 inches.
Picture Frame: one of the four glass panels is extensively cracked; one corner tip to another glass panel is also cracked Stamp Box: glass panel on lid and front wall and two sides appear to be in good condition ; the bottom glass panel and rear wall both have cracks; stamp "well" is present Pen Tray: the glass panel appears to be in good condition Rocker Blotter: appears to be in good condition; calendar for 1928 / 1929 is affixed to blotter Four Blotter Corners; each appears to be in good condition Ink Well: glass on side walls appears to be in good condition; hairline crack to top side of glass located near the 1 o'clock position; clear glass insert appears to be a replacement; not unscrewed for inspection Pen Holder: glass appears to be in good condition Letter Rack: possible hairline crack to one of the three glass panels (it could simply be a striations in the glass) Expandable Book Holder: crack to the corner of one of the side glass panels; otherwise appears to be in good condition Patina is dulled on some pieces it is worn on others; some pieces have a mottled chocolate brown and dark rust orange patina
