Superb chromolithograph illustrations depicting scenes from daily life aboard the P & O Steamships, presented in a humorous light. Scenes include passenger and crew activities, on deck and below. Also included is a copy of David & Stephen Howarth's "The Story of the P & O.", which includes several illustrations from this work. Lot Amendments Condition: Covers soiled, edges and corners rubbed, hinges cracked; short tear to one leaf (not affecting image), some finger soiling to margins; else very good. Item number: 185107
