This halberd was purchased from the Angel family of Franklin, N.C. The Angel family is the namesake of the Angel hospital. The Angel family found this ax in an Indian smokehouse around 1880. All of this information related to the purchase of this item comes with a signed letter attesting to the purchase of this halberd from the Angel family. Condition: Tip of spear is broken off. All metal surfaces are uniformly pitted.
