Thonium - Thoren, Amsterdam, circa 1662, uncoloured engraved town plan, small split at base of central fold, 370 x 510 mm, no text on verso, together with another later example with small margins, with Merian (Matthaus). Thorunium, circa 1650, uncoloured city plan, originally published in 'Topographia Electoratus Brandenburgici et Ducatus Pomeraniae', central fold partially repaired on verso, 220 x 330 mm, plus Von Pufendorf (Samuel Baron). Prospect von der Stadt Thorn so Anno 1703..., Konig Carl den XII..., circa 1704, uncoloured engraved plan of the siege of Torun, 295 x 380 mm, with another two engraved plans of the seige by Bodenehr and Pufendorf and an interior view, various sizes and condition (Qty: 9) The Siege of Torun was one of the battles during the Swedish invasion of Poland and Lithuania, sometimes referred to as the 'Second Northern War'. It started on 2nd July 1658 and ended on 30th December 1658. The Swedish garrison capitulated and Torun returned to Polish hands.
