A FINE HARRIS & EWING PHOTO OF THE TRUMAN CABINET, taken at the height of America's cold war with the Soviet Union. The Berlin Airlift crisis was only a few months past, and within weeks Truman would announce U. S. plans to build a hydrogen bomb. In June of 1950 the cold war would turn hot in Korea. Howard McGrath (1903-1966).
