TWO ARTS AND CRAFTS HAMMERED SILVER CREAM JUGS BY A.E. JONES (ALBERT EDWARD JONES The ovoid example Birmingham 1903, the other Birmingham 1905, the first with a high D-shaped handle, a high sparrow beak spout, on a drum pedestal, the circular foot with punched beads and a meander, 9cm (3 1/2in) high; the second inverted conical with a bifurcated D-shape handle, applied with two four-petal flowers, the conical base with a quatrefoil reserve enclosing four pear shape beads, 8cm (3 1/8in) high, 173g (5.55 oz) gross Condition Report: General overall condition good with minor nicks and surface scratching commensurate with age and use. 1st Marks rubbed, makers very, 0.5cm deep scratch to side, stands well 2nd Marks clear, maker rubbed at top, no faults, stands well Condition Report Disclaimer
