TWO LARGE MEISSEN FLOWER-ENCRUSTED POT-POURRI VASES, COVERS AND STANDS MID-TO-LATE 19TH CENTURY, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARKS Each turquoise and gilt rocaille-moulded and pierced domed cover surmounted by a large bouquet, above a baluster vase with foliate handles encrusted with fruit and flowers, the fronts with finely painted vignettes of figures in gardens with ruins, the backs with large bouquets within rocaille-moulded surrounds and further floral, fruit and insect encrustations, the lower socles similarly moulded, on conforming bases with applied nymph holding a basket of flowers 28¾ in.
