Commode with Hardstone Top: appears to be in good restored condition; restorations include repairs to both front corners of the hardstone top; typical nicks and chips to the hardstone rim edges; small areas of repair to the veneer; no apparent splitting to the sides of the case; repairs to all four of the toupie feet; worm holes are visible on the underside, including the base board, glue blocks and frame edges B. Commode with Serpentine Shape Top: appears to be in good condition; some areas of restoration to the veneer; both sides of the case show evidence of vertical splitting; the underside (base board) shows evidence of worm holes; the underside of the base board and the underside frame edges have been painted with brown paint
