Two pairs of 19th century ivory opera glasses and a leather case, the first inscribed for G&C Dixey, Opticians to the King/Bond street and the other with William Harris & Co, London, in French marked leather case, Each approx. 10.6cm wide Condition Report: Dixey example - winding mechanism is broken, these do not retract, with loss to part of brass mount some short cracks acround ivory casing, wear and rubbing to brass and metal mounts, some small dents to metal rims, lenses are ok. Harris example - winding mechanism working and lenses ok. Minor short crack to one of the ivory casings, some minor wear to brass mounts. Leather case with some typical wear, some splitting to leather exterior, some damages to silk interior.
