Maclise. 22.5x14.5 cm (8¾x5¾"), rebound by Zaehnsdorf in in full red crushed morocco, ruled and decorated in gilt, raised bands, four sports vignettes tooled in gilt; gilt dentelles, red silk endpapers; top edge gilt. Both included volumes have bookplate of Edward Motley Weld: Apperley, Charles J. "Nimrod". The Chace, The Turf, and The Road. First Edition. 1837. (Rubbing to side of spine and front hinge starting). Bindley, Charles. "Harry Hieover". Sporting Facts and Sporting Fancies. 1853. (Binding misspells Bindley as Brindley).
