Kändler, standing amongst corn with their tails held high, the male with brightly-cloloured head and dark brown plumage, the female with soft brown plumage and surrounded by three chicks, both with traces of crossed swords marks and impressed '50', the female also with inventory number 445 (both tails restored) 15.5cm., 6 1/8 in. and 19cm., 7 1/2 in. high
