Eagle front plate with white metal branch insignia matching that of the buttons. Black three-strand cord with matching black aguillettes and striking black hair plume. Interior of sweatband marked with U.S. inspector stamp and mostly illegible contractor stamp. Condition: Good overall. Some minor fading and storage wear to body with black cord showing some fading to a deep purple. Hair plume retains a dark black color. Brass shows some oxidation. Some thinning of felt on front of helmet near eagle's left wing and rear of right button. A handsome piece.
