The Vauxhall Royal Balloon, formed of 2,000 yards of silk and capable of ascending with 28 persons, beside ballast and apparatus... First Ascent with 9 persons made from Vauxhall September 9th 1836, hand-coloured lithograph by F. Alvey after Black, a few marks to outer margins, 28 x 22.5 cm mount aperture, framed and glazed, and other various ballooning prints and related, including an original pen and black ink humourous scene entitled 'Time badly Employed', depicting a crown of people with a balloon ascent, attributed to A. J. Groom, and dated circa 1828 in later pencil to verso, gilt frame, glazed (17 x 22 cm), a framed and glazed photogravure print of the Royal Naval Air Service in action, after John de G.
