Victor Vasarely (1906-1997) STRI-AXO-PÂL signed twice, titled and dated 'VASARELY - "STRI-AXO-PÂL" 1972-73 Vasarely' (on the reverse) acrylic on canvas 43 3/8 x 43 3/8 in. (110.1 x 110.1 cm.) Painted in 1973. The authenticity of the present work has been confirmed by Pierre Vasarely. The work will be included in the artist's forthcoming catalogue raisonné, which is currently being compiled by the Fondation Vasarely, Aix-en-Provence.
