I am interested in distortion. Through loose line work and flattened figures and shapes I create an abstracted representation of the world. In doing so I create a pathway to process the complexities of the human condition. I wonder about how the imagination processes experience, memory and shape into visual form. By taking a sideways look at life I challenge the viewer to question what we see as reality.
