VISIGOTHIC BRONZE BOW BROOCH Circa 6th-7th century AD. A cast bronze bow brooch with trapezoidal headplate, carinated bow and narrow footplate; the headplate decorated with punched triangle designs, ring-and-dot motifs, opposed bird-heads on the outer edges and discoid terminal; the footplate similarly decorated but with additional crescent punchmarks; the catchplate and pin-lug substantially present on the reverse.
