Mahogany case has a typical banjo form, fluted tapering bracket with teardrop acorn finial and turned brass presentation spheres, brass eagle finial on top, brass bezel w/ convex glass and pierced brass side arms; reverse painted throat glass with gilt filigree and reverse painted lower table with view of Independence Hall. Good running condition, case has a French polished finish, polished brass mounts in good condition, glasses are original with some flaking and paint loss. . 41 in. high x 10.25 in. wide x 4 in. deep.
