Provenance: From the family of the artist Please note: Charles Mozley 1914-91, studied art at Sheffield and the Royal College of Art, London. During World War II he was firstly in a camouflage unit with Edward Seago, but in 1942 was moved to military intelligence. He produced posters for Shell, Ealing films, and a large mural of Florence Nightingale for the Health section of the 1951 Festival of Britain. He worked principally in oils and watercolours, although he is perhaps better known for his illustrations and book covers.
