Mounted photograph, 10 x 8 in., a crowd of gentlemen with their shotguns and hunting dogs along with butchers with their aprons and knives posed in front of a butcher shop, presumably somewhere in the West. The carcases hang in front of the store front with a stone sign reading Wes and Carey. Corn hangs above the meat and in the center of the shot appears to possibly be a bear hide. An inked inscription on the back reads, Uncle John West [illegible] his sons South main 2nd door McKenna. Appears to be a period enlargement of another photograph. Stamped on the mount by Lydia Hill. According to a previous owners note included with the image, the photograph was found in Coeur D'Alene, Idaho. Research did not indicate the specific origin of the image. Condition: Toning of the image, wear and light soiling on the mount.
