WILLIAM EGLEY (1798-1870) Catherine (1811-1873), Countess of Bandon ( née Whitmore), facing right in low-cut blue velvet dress with lace underdress, her dark brown hair dressed in ringlets; her sister, Emily Elizabeth Wilmot (b. 1815) ( née Whitmore), facing right in low-cut claret-coloured velvet dress with lace underdress, her dark brown hair dressed in ringlets; and a lady called Catherine Whitmore (1781-1867, née Thomson), full face in sea-green velvet dress with lace underdress, lace cap in her brown hair dressed in ringlets signed and dated on the backing paper 'Painted by W. Egley 15 Buckingham [.] . Portland PL. 1833' and 'painted by W m Egley 15 Buckingham St. Portland Pl[ace]' and 'Painted by W m Egley 15 Buckingham St Portland Place 1833' respectively all rectangular, 1 13/16 x 1 7/16 in. (46 x 37mm.) to 2 x 1 9/16 in. (50 x 39 mm.), black wood frames (3)
