Autograph Letter Signed, "Jacob," to his brother Ferdinand, in German, sending three pictures [not present], asking his opinion about them and requesting that two of them be given to [Friedrich Carl von] Savigny, stating that Luis [probably brother Ludwig Emil Grimm] has neither helped nor even mentioned anything about the "proposed Grimm work." 1 page, small 4to; unobtrusive horizontal fold through signature, minor scattered foxing and soiling.
