The first was based on an address to the Institute of Environmental Sciences, Chicago; the second an address to the National Conference of the American Society for Public Administration, Detroit, Michigan; and the last an address at the Celebration of the Prelude to Independence, Williamsburg, Virginia. Webb is the most well-known of NASA Administrators – the replacement for the Hubble Telescope was named in his honor. He writes about his plans and goals for the Space Program. Webb remained in office until the year before the lunar landing, which he guided from its inception. These are among the few Webb publications issued by NASA during his term of office. After leaving NASA, he published a book, "Space Age Management."
