Peck), CQD medal, unnamed as issued, very fine or better, with a folder of research (Quantity: 5) William Joseph Peck was born in West Derby, Liverpool in 1884, he joined the Merchant Navy in 1908 listed on the crew list of the White Star liner Republic as the passenger cook where he was awarded the CQD (Come Quick Danger) medal he served in the Mercantile Fleet Auxiliary as a Chief Cook during WWI. Peck died in Preston, Lancashire in 1965.
