8x27mmR. 4.5" barrel length. SN: H80459. Double-action hand-ejector revolver with topstrap notch and pinned front blade sights. Revolver shows a blued metal finish with straw-colored small parts and checkered two-piece walnut grips. Butt terminates in a blued cap with lanyard swivel and ring. Right frame is marked Mre d'Armes/St Etienne above Circle F proof marking. Further proofs include {Crown}/E mark to rear cylinder flat and {Shield} beneath barrel. Left side of hammer stamped 2. A further illegible marking is visible on right side of cylinder release lever. Left grip panel has three horizontal notches carved into it. Condition: Good. Bore is frosty with patina forming along with some residue and oxidation. Metal finish shows some extant bluing to frame, barrel, and cylinder, but remaining components dominated by a brown patina. Cylinder bluing is weak and shows a brown patina to majority of surface with some bluing remaining in recesses. Cylinder pin head has some mars and weakening to knurling. Small parts are a brown patina with light pitting to right side of cylinder release lever. Grips show scratches and mars overall with some skips to checkering and handling wear. Action indexes correctly and locks tightly.
