Yeo.), toned, second with official corrections to regiment and suspension bent otherwise very fine and better, with related cap badge, two buttons and a cigarette tin with card inscribed ‘Thomas James Carter Berkshire Yeomanry 1914-1918 This case saved his life by deflecting a bullet, signed E M Horne Daughter’, together with a pair to Private W. Horne, Royal Berkshire Regiment, 1914-15 Star (11684 Pte W. Horne. R. Berks:R.), Victory Medal (11684 Pte. W. Horne. R. Berks.R.), good very fine. 1723 Private Thomas J. Carter, served during the Great War with the Berkshire Yeomanry from 16.11.1915 in Gallipoli, transferred to the Machine Gun Corps (165163). (5)
