Additional chromolithographic general title, chromolithographic part-title to vol. II, 153 chromolithographic plates (only, of 154, lacking plate 51 'Group of Enamels') and 4 monochrome lithographic plates. Lacking the letterpress to plates 81 and 82. 10 publisher's advertisements and 2 publisher's slips noting delays to plates 21 and 144 loosely inserted. (Light spotting, short tear to text leaf to plate 153 without loss.) Original bifolium printed wrapper to part XI inserted. Unbound, contained in a 20th-century leather-backed cloth portfolio and slipcase (portfolio lightly spotted, leather spine slightly sunned). This overview of exhibits at the 1851 Great Exhibition used 1069 lithographic stones with an average of 7 pulls per plate. Abbey Life 85 (giving an incorrect number of plates).
