The top with well figured mahogany type timber bordered with rosewood, with plum pudding figured mahogany to the frieze. There are some losses, restorations and observations including: The mitred corner junctions of the gallery with some opening; some pitting to the top and missing a section of stringing; crossbanding missing to the top of one leg. The slide with some lifting and missing leather inlay. Some later timber to the underside of the table including a later stopping block to the slide.
