A FINE RUN, INCLUDING PAPERS BY MOST OF THE GREATEST ZOOLOGISTS OF THE 19TH CENTURY, AND ILLUSTRATED BY MANY OF THE FINEST NATURAL HISTORY ILLUSTRATORS OF THE TIME. Substantial runs of the Transactions... rarely appear at auction: only the present set and the Bute sets (in 1995) are listed as having sold in the past twenty-five years. The Transactions... continued to be published until 1984, when it was amalgamated with its sister publication The Proceedings.. under the new title The Journal of Zoology .
