1940s Theatre Posters - London Theatres - a collection of x3 original 1940s theatre posters from various London / West End venues. Comprising: 1) Bless The Bride at the Adelphi Theatre 'A Musical Show By AP Herbert With Music By Vivian Ellis,.' 2) The Bird-Seller at the Palace Theatre, starring Irene Ambrus, James Etherington, Roy Royston, Barry Mackay and others. 3) Cinderella 'All Star Pantomime' at the Casino Theatre starring Arthur Askey, Carole Lynne, Eve Lister, Chevalier Brothers and others. Various conditions from G to G+. 51cm x 32cm. Provenance: from a large private collection of 1940s theatre (and other) posters. All originally obtained and used by the Keith Prowse Ticket Agency in London during the period. All posters are used and display signs of wear. Most feature pin holes to the corners, and most are folded - although the folds tend not to have penetrated the print, making them largely unnoticeable in many cases.
