The great Austrian motorcycle firm of Puch had recovered from WW2 by the late 1940s and was ready to announce some new machines. One of these was the ‘TT’, a twin-pipe lightweight that bore more than a passing visual resemblance to the RT 125 of their pre-war opposition, DKW. A neat lightweight, it achieved success in a bike-starved Europe. The museum’s example was bought in a ‘sad’ condition in 1980 and was thoroughly restored to new condition by HP Moto in Znaim. Presented in virtually new condition, it will take a minimum of effort to return it to the road. It is complete with an Austrian ‘Typenschein’ registration document.
