Pat's March 6 1860' on the receiver, figured butt and fore-end, the former stamped with inspector's mark and 'BB' on the left side, steel mounts comprising trigger-lever and butt-plate, the latter with magazine tube, saddle-bar and ring, and sling loop (steel parts with some rust patination) 50.8 cm. barrel
