Autograph manuscript signed "John Lennon" and with a caricature, six pages quarto, no place, 1976. A youthful interviewer apparently by the name of Stuart submitted six pages of questions to John who, surprisingly responded, and with some very interesting words in his own hand. Some high-lights: To paraphrase the interviewer: What sort of album are you working on? John: "until it's been on tape I never know what it will be" Do you plan on writing any more books, an autobiography perhaps? John: "Yes, I have been writing, but not an autobiography, i've noticed that people tend to DIE after writing their life story" What is the most important thing in your life? John "health for me and family." The interviewer then provides a list of names and asks John for one-word associations: New York: great / Elvis: fat / Ringo: friend / Yoko: love George: lost / Bootlegs: good / Elton: nice Paul extraordinary / Bowie: thin / M.B.E: shit / John: great John ends with "It was a pleasure, love ya dig it / John Lennon " As an added sign of approval, John adds a sixth page with a beautiful sketch of a lamb standing on a cloud in the sun, Hi Stuart is the inscription / John Lennon / 76.
