A BRESCIAN PERCUSSION BLUNDERBUSS, converted from flintlock, with brass-inlaid belled two-stage barrel, signed rounded lock, walnut full stock (fore-end replaced) lightly carved and sparsley inlaid with silver wire scrollwork, hinged folding butt (minor repairs) released by a button, iron mounts including side-plate, butt-plate and trigger-guard chiselled with scrollwork and foliage, mother-of-pearl escutcheon, iron belt-hook, and horn-tipped ramrod, by G. Banchi, late 18th Century; and a Flemish sporting gun, converted from flintlock, with two-stage barrel, silver spider fore-sight, octagonal breech struck with counterfeit Spanish marks, plain lock (hammer missing), walnut half-stock with chequered grip (repaired) and inlaid with silver wire at the tang and behind the rear ramrod-pipe, cheek-piece, later vacant silver escutcheon, iron mounts including shaped butt-plate and trigger-guard each engraved with a trophy of arms, and sling mounts (ramrod missing), unsigned, early 19th Century 21in. and 32¼in. barrels [E.430,431] (2)
