A Fine Renaissance Revival Yellow Gold, Polychrome Enamel, Emerald, Diamond and Natural Pearl Pendant, Circa 1870, consisting of a central Holbeinesque oval form openwork plaque supporting a pendant and suspended from a flared bail, entire pendant accented in translucent blue, red and green champlevé enamel over textured gold in geometric and foliate patterns against a background of opaque black and white enamel, containing six cushion and octagonal step cut emeralds weighing approximately 5.35 carats total set to the compass points, center and in the bail, eight old mine cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.50 carats total, 10 rose cut diamonds, four round pearls set to the compass points and measuring approximately 4.22 mm in diameter, and one baroque pearl in the lower drop measuring approximately 8.88 x 7.09 mm, the reverse finished with hand engraved foliate motifs, entire pendant measuring approximately 84.00 x 34.00 mm. Accompanied by a Gemological Institute of America pearl identification certificate number 1152684597, dated October 11, 2013, stating Pearls: Natural pearls, Environment: Saltwater, Mollusk: Pinctada species, Treatments: No indications of treatment, Shape: Near-round and Semi-baroque, Bodycolor: White. 16.80 dwts.
