Beautifull nakago with three mekugi-ana and red lacquer Shu-mei. Almost full bright 19th century polish with virtually no kizu. One area of extremely loose kado. Wakizashi is 16.75" cutting edge. Thick notare hamon with yakidashi characteristic of this famous Shinto period sword maker. Blade is almost full polish and flawless. Beautiful ubu nakago with one mekugi-ana showing full signature. Appears 100% genuine. Sword with complete dragon mounts comprising iron tsuba with chiseled and guilt dragons. Matching dragon menuki. Wakizashi with gilt dragon fuchi-kashira. Plain black lacquer scabbard. Handle wrap becoming unwrapped and in need of attention. Very important dragon mounted daisho with one of the best wakizashi an advanced samurai collector could possibly desire. Rarely does one come across a true samurai daisho of this quality.
