(Chiswick House Charity Auction, 26th September 2020) A monthly seasonal veggie box Veggie delights A monthly seasonal veggie box Take home a box of fresh, organic and seasonal vegetables every month when in season. Chiswick House and Gardens’ Kitchen Garden grows an enormous selection of vegetables, supplying a number of local businesses and restaurants, and we’d be delighted to supply you too! We’ll package up and have ready a box for you to collect every month from our estate. We cultivate all kinds of vegetables in the growing season, including potatoes, rhubarb, broccoli, peas, kale, chard and a variety of herbs – to name just a few. In the months where the garden sleeps (November – March) we can give you one of our special handmade wreaths to decorate your home, honey from our beehives and jam (blackcurrant, redcurrant and gooseberry, when available). Each box should feed approximately 3-4 people for a week. Take your cooking to the next delicious level with this monthly vegetable box, and support the environment by eating seasonal, local produce. And, to make it extra special, we’ll add a bouquet of fresh cut flowers so your dinner guests can marvel not only at your cooking, but also at a beautiful locally grown bouquet.
