A SMALL BEIJING ENAMEL GILT-DECORATED WATER-POT QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-95) Of guan form, covered in green enamel with a few areas of deep royal blue, and very small splashes of copper-red in imitation of archaic bronze patination, delicately gilt with a band of linked archaistic taotie between narrow bands of squared spirals, bands of stiff leaves around the foot and ruyi -heads around the rim, the interior and underside in white enamel 2 3/8 in. (6 cm.) diam.
