Framed. Short tears to folds, edges browned, taped to mount at three points; Together with two related items including KOSCIUSZKO, THADDEUS. Inscription to Jackson on a 1794 print portrait of a young Kosciuszko, inscribed "To Genl. Michial Jackson with the compliments of his friend" above his printed name. Framed. Trimmed and mounted with small stains; and a portrait of Jackson's son Ebenezer, inscribed with his life dates. General Michael Jackson is notable for being one of very few men who served throughout the entire American Revolution, from 1775-1783. This final appointment to Brigadier General was largely ceremonial as Jackson would muster out of service in November 1783, serving his final days as a General under Washington. C
